Those who have committed one of the offences mentioned in the present law or those who must be punished under general provisions for an offence related to the execution of the present law shall be investigated under general provisions regardless of their title or position.

There is also no available information on whether the sanctions were applied when the prohibitions stipulated in the Law No. 298 on Law on Basic Provisions of Elections and Voter Registers were violated. It can also be said that such impunity is usually case with the several “prohibitions” stated in the Law No. 298.
