Although there is no legally assigned institution for overseeing compliance with the rules against abuse of state resources, the SBE is expected to refer the public prosecutor for investigation as the final authority to solve the issues/complaints within the scope the Law on Basic Provisions of Elections and Voter Registers . There is a legal gap in terms of the powers to be used.
