Requirement to hold a hearing

LAW on Election of Members ofthe National Assembly (LEMNA) and Amendments of Law on Election of Members ofthe National Assembly

Art. 42 (new)

The ConstitutionalCouncil shall examine and decide on the appeal within ten (10) days afterthe date receiving the appeal. In the event of dissolution of the National Assemblybefore the end of its mandate, the Constitutional Council shall immediatelyexamine and decide on the appeal.

Art. 43

A hearing or a partialhearing conducted by the Constitutional Council to rule on the appealshall be public.

The ConstitutionalCouncil shall post the date, place and time of the hearing on the appeal.

Art. 44

After the end ofthe period of political parties registration running in the Election or/andafter the final decision on all complaints and appeals , the National Election Committeeshall post the list of registered political parties running in the

Election and theirlist of candidates for each province/municipality, in accordance with theregulations and procedures.
