Possibility to appeal

?        The National Elections Act (Act Number 39 of 2012 )

?        Article81

(1) A candidateor Political Party may appeal to the Competent Court against a decision of theCommission to reject or accept a nomination.

(2) Any appealunder sub-section (1) of this section shall be made within seven days from thedate of publication of the Commission’s decision to reject or accept anomination.

3) TheCompetent Court shall decide on any appeal submitted according to Sub-section(2) within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of the appeal

and shall makeits decision public. The Competent Court may for this purpose issue any orderin any related matter pending before it. Thedecision of the Competent Court shall be final.
