(1) The rules ofprocedure to be adopted for election petitions and appeals arising therefromshall be as set out in the First Schedule to this Act.

(2) The Presidentof the Court of Appeal may issue practice directions to election tribunals.

Practice andprocedure of Court of Appeal and Supreme Court

55. Subject to theprovisions of this Act, an appeal to the Court of Appeal or to the Supreme Courtshall be determined in accordance with the practice and procedure relating tocivil appeals in the Court of Appeal or of the Supreme Court, as the case maybe, regard being had to the need for urgency on electoral matters.
