Article 80.  (1) An appeal may be filed with theFederal Supreme Court against appeal decisions of the cantonal government (Art.77) in accordance with the Federal Supreme Court Act of 17 June 2005².

Article 82. The Federal Supreme Court hears Appeals:

a.against decisions in matters of public law

b.against cantonal decrees

c.concerning the political right of citizens to vote as well as on popularelections and referenda

Article 88. Complaints concerning the citizens’political right to vote as well as on popular elections and referenda areallowed:

a. in cantonal affairsagainst acts last cantonal courts;

b.in federal mattersagainst orders of the Federal Chancellery and the decisions of the cantonalgovernments.

Article 188 The Federal SupremeCourt is the supreme judicial authority of the Confederation. 2 Itsorganisation and procedure are governed by law.
3 The Federal Supreme Court has its ownadministration.

Article 189 (1) The Federal Supreme Court hears disputes concerning violations of:

federal law;

international law;

inter-cantonal law;

cantonal constitutionalrights;

the autonomy of thecommunes and other cantonal guarantees in favour of public law corporations;

federal and cantonalprovisions on political rights.

(2) It hears disputesbetween the Confederation and Cantons or between Cantons. 3 Thejurisdiction of the Federal Supreme Court may be extended by law.

(3) Acts of the FederalAssembly or the Federal Council may not be challenged in the Federal SupremeCourt. Exceptions may be provided for by law.
