Article(14): Appeals against the Commission?s Decisions

 

1. Everydecision that is issued by the commission shall be appealed before the Courtconcerning:

a.Approval or disapproval of the candidacy applications for the presidential orcouncil membership posts.

b.Whether or not to conduct re-elections in any polling center.

c.Approval or disapproval of the registration requests submitted by any electorallist.

d.Approval of the logo of each electoral list.

 

2. Theappeal shall be submitted to the Court?s Secretariat within three days ofnotification, and the court shall decide on the appeal within five days fromthe date of the submission thereof.

 

3. Theappeal submitted according to this article shall be exempted of any fees.

There is no legalrequirement for the court to hear and issue reasoned decisions. However, it isimplied in article 23 and article 26.
