Article68. (…) Thedecision of the circuit electoral commission on denial to register a candidatefor deputy of the House of Representatives may be appealed against by theperson nominated as a candidate for deputy within a three-day period in the Central Commission. Thedecision of the Central Commission may be appealed against by the personnominated as a candidate for deputy in the Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarus within the same period. TheSupreme Court of the Republic of Belarus considers the complaint within a three-day period and itsdecision is final. Comment
The decisions onregistration of MP candidates can be adjudicated on 2 levels. The decision onregistration is made by the circuit election commissions, whose decision can beappealed first to the CEC. The decision of the CEC can be further appealed inthe Supreme Court. The decisions on the registration of candidates for thePresident can be adjudicated only one level. The decision on registration ismade by the CEC, and can be later appealed to the Supreme Court.
