V. NOMINATION AND REGISTRATION OFCANDIDATES AND GUARANTIES OF THEIR ACTIVITY

Article 31. Procedure of thenomination of candidates to Majlisi namoyandagon

The name of the party body andthe title of the resolution, date and place, decision of the considered issues,the signature of the chairperson and the seal. The list of the nominatedcandidates is attached to the resolution. The protocol includes the following:the name of the party body, place and date, the number of its members, thenumber of participants, considered issues, proposals concerning candidates,discussions about candidates, form of voting, results of voting, the text ofthe adopted resolution, signatures of the chairperson and secretary of themeeting and the seal.

Having considered these documentssubmitted by political parties, the Central Commission for Elections andReferenda gives to the political party a copy of the approved list or itsgrounded decision about the refusal of this list.

If the list of candidates is not affirmed the political party can applyto the Supreme Court of the Republic of Tajikistan, and the Supreme Court isobliged to consider this application in the period of not later than 6 days.
