Article 12.Objection to Candidates

Any voter has theright to object to a candidate by written or verbal report within 7 days fromthe announcement of the candidates if such person is found to be unsuitableaccording to established criteria or if such person has violated any law [or]regulation which affects the rights and interests of the people.

The objectionshall be submitted to the district election committee, which will report to theprovincial, municipal, or special zone election committee to consider and dealwith the matter within 3 days. If the matter cannot be resolved, the reportshall be referred to the National Election Committee to consider and deal withthe matter within 5 days from the date it receives the matter.

The person whoobjects shall be responsible for his objection according to the laws andregulations.
