Article 39. 1.Not later than 10 days after acceptance ofthe documents required for the registration of a candidate, the CentralElection Commission of the Russian Federation shall take a decision to registera candidate or a reasoned decision to refuse his registration. If a candidateto be registered is nominated by a political party, the decision of the CentralElection Commission of the Russian Federation on the registration of thecandidate shall indicate that the candidate is nominated by a political party.The decision on the registration of a candidate shall indicate the date andtime of the registration.

4. Thedecision of the Central Election Commission of the Russian Federation toregister or not to register any candidate may be appealed to the Supreme Courtof the Russian Federation, which shall consider the appeal within five days ofits receipt.
