Article 38. 4. If, after the signatures which are not to becounted are cast off, the candidate for President of the Republic has thesignatures of at least twenty thousand of voters, the Central ElectoralCommission must register the individual as a candidate for President of theRepublic not later than within 24 hours. Refusal of the Central ElectoralCommission to register an individual as a candidate for President of theRepublic may be appealed against to the Supreme Administrative Court of Lithuania not later thanwithin 3 calendar days, and the said Court must investigate the appeal within72 hours. This term shall include non-working days as well. The decision of theSupreme AdministrativeCourt of Lithuania shall become effective from its pronouncement.
