Article ( 13 )
Applications for nomination shall beentered in a special register, according to the date and time of theirsubmission, against receipts. Submission and archiving of applications shall beas per the rules and procedures set by the PEC.
The PEC shall, within the two daysfollowing the closing date of the nomination period, announce the names ofapplicants for nomination and the numbers of their supporters in two widelycirculated daily newspapers.
Each nominee may object to the PEC against the nomination of anyother applicant, indicating the causes for such objection, within two days fromthe date of the announcement, and in accordance with the procedures prescribedby the PEC.
Article ( 14 )
The PEC shall examine all applications fornomination, and shall ensure compliance with the conditions set by theConstitution and the law, and shall decide on all objections submitted inaccordance with the provisions of the previous article, all within the fivedays following the deadline for the submission of objections.
Article ( 15)
The PEC shall notify applicants whoseapplications are rejected, indicating the reasons for its decision to rejecttheir nomination, within a period not exceeding twenty-four hours of the dateof issuing the rejection decision and in accordance with the proceduresestablished by the PEC.
