Electoral Act 2006, 21(3)

Any question, by anyperson, which may arise as to whether any provision of the Constitution or anylaw relating to nomination or election of President has been complied withshall be referred, by such person to the full bench of the Supreme Court withinfourteen days of the person elected as President being sworn

in, in accordance withclause 9 of Article 34 of the Constitution.

For Supreme Court petitions no sum is set but the fee set by thecourt for a 2008 petition was very substantial at €7,472.
