Article ( 13 )
Applications for nomination shall be entered in a special register,according to the date and time of their submission, against receipts.Submission and archiving of applications shall be as per the rules andprocedures set by the PEC.
The PEC shall, within the two days following the closing date of thenomination period, announce the names of applicants for nomination and thenumbers of their supporters in two widely circulated daily newspapers.
Eachnominee may object to the PEC against the nomination of any other applicant,indicating the causes for such objection, within two days from the date of theannouncement, and in accordance with the procedures prescribed by the PEC.
Article ( 14 )
The PEC shall examine all applications for nomination, and shall ensurecompliance with the conditions set by the Constitution and the law, and shalldecide on all objections submitted in accordance with the provisions of theprevious article, all within the five days following the deadline for thesubmission of objections.
Article ( 15)
The PEC shall notify applicants whose applications are rejected,indicating the reasons for its decision to reject their nomination, within aperiod not exceeding twenty-four hours of the date of issuing the rejectiondecision and in accordance with the procedures established by the PEC.
