Art. 209. (OPORTUNIDAD Y AUTORIDADCOMPETENTE).
“Las demandas de inhabilitaci?n ser?n interpuestas hastaquince (15) d?as antes de la elecci?n, para el caso de candidaturas opostulaciones a funciones con jurisdicci?n nacional, ante el Tribunal SupremoElectoral y, en los dem?s casos, ante los Tribunales ElectoralesDepartamentales. Vencido el plazo, excepcionalmente, se admitir?n demandas deinhabilitaci?n hasta tres (3) d?as antes de la votaci?n, por hechossobrevinientes comprobados.”

Petitionsagainst the eligibility of candidates running for national elections shall belodged at the latest fifteen (15) days before the election day. In exceptionalcases, petitions can be submitted at the latest three (3) days before theelection day.
