Article38. 4.If, after the signatures which are not to be counted are cast off, thecandidate for President of the Republic has the signatures of at least twentythousand of voters, the Central Electoral Commission must register theindividual as a candidate for President of the Republic not later than within24 hours. Refusal of the Central Electoral Commission to register an individualas a candidate for President of the Republic may be appealed against to theSupreme Administrative Court of Lithuania not later than within 3 calendar days,and the said Court must investigate the appeal within 72 hours. This term shall includenon-working days as well. The decision of the Supreme Administrative Court ofLithuania shall become effective from its pronouncement.
