Article 38. 4. If, after thesignatures which are not to be counted are cast off, the candidate forPresident of the Republic has the signatures of at least twenty thousand ofvoters, the Central Electoral Commission must register the individual as acandidate for President of the Republic not later than within 24 hours. Refusalof the Central Electoral Commission to register an individual as a candidatefor President of the Republic may be appealed against to the SupremeAdministrative Court of Lithuania not later than within 3 calendar days, andthe said Court must investigate the appeal within 72 hours. This term shallinclude non-working days as well. The decision of the Supreme AdministrativeCourt of Lithuania shall become effective from its pronouncement.
