Article 38. 4. If, after the signatures which are not to be counted are cast off,the candidate for President of the Republic has the signatures of at leasttwenty thousand of voters, the Central Electoral Commission must register theindividual as a candidate for President of the Republic not later than within24 hours. Refusal of the Central Electoral Commission to register an individualas a candidate for President of the Republic may be appealed against to theSupreme Administrative Court of Lithuania not later than within 3 calendardays, and the said Court must investigate the appeal within 72 hours. This termshall include non-working days as well. The decision of the Supreme Administrative Court ofLithuania shall become effective from its pronouncement.
