  EU 2009 EOMReport 21: In 2009 the Chief Justice issued a practicedirection abridging the time periods for these cases to be dealt with. Thedocument stipulated the steps and timeframe for proceedings to be respected bythe High Court, Supreme Court of Appealand the parties involved to avoid unnecessary delays.
