Article 68. (…) The decision ofthe Central Commission on denial to register the person nominated as a candidatefor the President of the Republic of Belarus may be appealed against, within athree-day period, in theSupreme Court of the Republic of Belarus. The Supreme Court of theRepublic of Belarus considers the complaint within a three-day period and itsdecision is final. (…)

Comment

Thedecisions on registration of MP candidates can be adjudicated on 2 levels. Thedecision on registration is made by the circuit election commissions, whosedecision can be appealed first to the CEC. The decision of the CEC can befurther appealed in the Supreme Court. The decisions on the registration ofcandidates for the President can be adjudicated only one level. The decision onregistration is made by the CEC, and can be later appealed to the Supreme Court
