Article68. (…) The decisionof the Central Commission on denial to register the person nominated as acandidate for the President of the Republic of Belarus may be appealed against,within a three-day period,in the Supreme Courtof the Republic of Belarus. The Supreme Court of the Republic of Belarusconsiders the complaint within a three-day period and its decision is final. Comment
The decisions onregistration of MP candidates can be adjudicated on 2 levels. The decision onregistration is made by the circuit election commissions, whose decision can beappealed first to the CEC. The decision of the CEC can be further appealed inthe Supreme Court. The decisions on the registration of candidates for thePresident can be adjudicated only one level. The decision on registration ismade by the CEC, and can be later appealed to the Supreme Court.
