What types of sanctions can be imposed for campaign finance infractions?

“Article 91.

5. Failure byelectoral subjects or donors to comply with the rules provided for in thisChapter, when it does not constitute a criminal offence, shall constitute anadministrative offence and is sanctioned according to the provisions of PartXIV of this Code.'
Article 173
Sanctions related tocampaign financing
1. A violation of theprovisions on electoral campaign financing by the chief of finance of apolitical party is punishable by a fine of between ALL 50 000 and 100 000.
2. Failure of the electoralsubject to co-operate with CEC auditing is subject to a fine of between ALL 1000 000 and 2 000 000.
3. The refusal to make thefinancial resources of a campaign transparent or to allow the audit to exerciseits activity is subject to a fine from ALL 2 000 000 up to the suspension ofthe public financing of the political party for 5 years.
4. Violations related toarticle 90 of this Code by the donor, are subject to a fine of 30 percent ofthe amount donated.
5. Violation of the maximumlimit of expenses by the electoral subject is subject to a fine of 10 percentof the value above the limit allowed for expenses in accordance with article 90of this Code.”
“Article 176
Execution ofadministrative sanctions
A fineimposed by the CEC, in accordance with this Part, constitutes an executivetitle and is executed in accordance with the procedures provided for in article510 of the Civil Procedure Code.”
