66. (8) Theclaimant may, if he thinks fit, bring an action for a disputed claim in anycompetent court;

(9) On causeshown to the satisfaction of a Judge of the High Court, the Judge, onapplication by the claimant or by the candidate or his election agent, may byorder give leave for the payment by a candidate or his election agent of adisputed claim, or of a claim for those expenses, although sent in after thetime in this section mentioned for sending in claims, or although the claim wassent in to the candidate and not to the election agent.

(10) Any sumspecified in the order of leave may be paid by the candidate or his electionagent; and when paid in pursuance of that leave shall be deemed to be paidwithin the time limited by this Act.
