86. ENTITLEMENT TO FUNDINGFROM THE CENTRAL FUND.

(1) A –

(a) a person who is aMember of the Parliament, determined by the Commission under Section 85 not tobe a member of a registered political party; and

(b) Member ofParliament, who is a member of a political party who has failed to file afinancial return,

is not entitled to any paymentof funds from the Central Fund and shall not be included in any calculation ofpayment of funds from the Central Fund.

(2) A registered politicalparty which –

(a) does not have anymembers who are Members of the Parliament; or

(b) has failed to filea financial return in accordance with Section 88,

is not entitled to any paymentof funds from the Central Fund.

 

88. FINANCIAL RETURNS BYPOLITICAL PARTIES.

(1) Within three months afterthe date fixed for the return of writs following a general election and everytwelve months thereafter, the public officer of a political party shall lodgewith the Registrar a financial return specifying –

(c) details of allexpenditure which that political party has incurred, during the period –

(2) A financial return underSubsection (1) shall contain –

(c) in respect of eachitem of expenditure –

(iii) the nature and value ofthe expenditure; and
