Failure to disclose funds
14. (1) A candidate who, or an organisation that, is required under theprovisions of this Act to disclose the amountand sources of funds intended to be used as election expensesand fails to disclose the funds, shall, in the absence of any reasonableexplanation be liable to disqualification from participating in the election inthe case of a candidate or revocation of permission in the case of anorganisation.
(2) The Attorney-General, a person who was a candidate or voter, mayfile an election petition challenging the nomination of a candidate or electionof a candidate who contravened the requirement for the disclosure of funds forelection expenses under this Act.

The HighCourt shall have jurisdiction to hear and determine any question whether –
(a) anyperson has been validly elected or appointed as a Member of Parliament;
(b) anyperson has been validly elected as President, Deputy President, Speaker orDeputy Speaker; or
(c) anyperson, having been validly elected as President, Deputy President, Speaker orDeputy Speaker, has validly vacated that office.
