(Implicationsof the violation of the conditions of electoralcampaigns)

1.Monitoring committees, which is formed in IHEC offices, will coordinate withdirectorates and municipal departments to control violations of the electoralcampaign.

2.Commission imposed a fine on any political entity, coalition, or candidateviolates this regulation or the code of conduct of political entities, signedby them, IHEC will also takes legal action to enforce the penalties stipulatedin the amended Electoral law No. 16 of 2005. 

Comment
According to IEHC regulation No. 19, Commission imposes fines on political entities violating campaign finance rules stipulated in section 3.12 of the same document. However, in general terms, campaign finance violations are also considered as criminal offences (see Part 4).
