Article 26 Decisions priorto the Main Trial

1. Upon the filing of anindictment by the state prosecutor in the Basic Court, the single trial judge or presidingtrial judge shall holdinitial hearings and second hearings, rule on requests to dismiss theindictment, rule on requests to exclude evidence, and shall rule on requestsfor detention on remand or other measures to ensure the presence of thedefendant.
