Article 611. '[...] (b) Civil penalties. Any person whointentionally or negligently violates any provision of this Chapter shall beliable in a civil action brought by the Commission, Attorney General, theSpecial Prosecutor or a citizen of the Republic of an amount not more than$10,000 or, in the case of a violation of the reporting provisions of thischapter, an amount not more than the amount or value not properly reported or$10,000, whichever is greater. [...] (c) Any public offical or candidate whofails to timely file any statement required by this chapter shall pay to theCommission a penalty of $50 per day that the disclosure is delinquent.'
