Article 67 (1) Amotion can be filed by a candidate for Presidentof the Republic demand that the court pursuant to other legislation ¹² ) decided that there was a breachof the rules of campaign financing under this Act by adopting funds or otherperformance realizable value in money, which is not or know the true origin,exceeded the limit on campaign expenditures or result in the breach of campaignfinance or accounting is disclosed under this Act, and in what way and to whatextent this obligation was breached.

(2) The proposal must be made​​within 60 days from the date on which the enabling remote access to thewebsite published statement of the candidate's election campaign, or within 60days after the lapse of the deadline for its publication.

Article68. Jurisdictionof the courts

The proceedings under ? 65 and 66 is by the SupremeAdministrative Court. The proceedings under ? 67 ofthe competent Municipal Court in Prague.

“Within 60 days of theannouncement of official results, a report on campaign accounting has to bepublished on the candidates’ websites and provided to the Mandate and ImmunityCommittee of the Senate. This committee is a depository body for the campaignfinancing reports, and has no mandate to scrutinize their accuracy. There areno other institutions responsible for checking the accuracy of the reports, andno sanctions for incomplete reporting or failure to report.”

Inorder to improve the transparency and accuracy of reporting on campaignfinancing, the law could be amended to introduce meaningful control andoversight mechanisms, as well as timely sanctions for potential infringements.
