Asindicated in the general part, Law no. 334/2006 makes the state subsidyconditional to certain requirements. It can be suspended in case of certaininfringements (to art. 3 para (3); art. 4 para. (4); art. 9, art. 11para. (3); art. 12 para. (1); art. 13 para. (4); art. 39 and art. 40para. (2)) in order to force offenders to rectify an illegal situation. ThePEA shall, first of all, notify the political party about the deficienciesascertained and their remediation time. The time allowed political parties toaddress deficiencies cannot exceed 15 days. The decision to temporary suspendgranting monthly instalments from the state budget can be challenged within 15days from the communication before the competent administrative court, whichhas to decide within 15 days from the notification. The court decision is final andirrevocable.' P 31, 'Law no. 334/2006 itself contains aspecific criminal offence (article 36(3)) which punishes false financialstatements with imprisonment of 1 to 3 years
