Art. 199: After verification of supporting documents of accounts, the Court of Auditors makes its judgment.​ If it is found an campaign spending exceeding the ceiling, the Court of Auditors address within fifteen (15) days after the filing of accounts, a report to the prosecutor, who must prosecute the offenders.

The Supreme Court, acting as the Court of Auditors,pursuant to article 155 (1) of the Constitution, performs the role ofmonitoring and oversight of campaign expenditure and may refer to the PublicProsecutor if it finds a criminal offense related to campaign funding.
