HANDLINGOF ACTS OF VIOLATING LEGISLATION ON ELECTION

Article76. Those persons who resort to deception, fraud, inducement or coercion, thusobstructing the election or candidacy of People's Council deputies by citizens;those who are persons responsible for the election work but forge papers,commit fraud in vote-counting, or employ other tricks to falsify the electionreturns shall, depending on the nature and seriousness of their violations, bedisciplined, administratively handled or examined for penal liability.

Article77. All people are entitled to denounce unlawful acts in the election of thePeople's Council deputies.

Thosewho obstruct or retaliate the denouncers shall, depending on the nature andseriousness of their violations, be disciplined, administratively handled orexamined for penal liability.

ChapterXIII CRIMES OF INFRINGING UPON CITIZENS DEMOCRATIC FREEDOMS

Article126.- Infringement upon citizens rights to vote, to stand for election

1.Those who resort to deception, buying off, coercion or other tricks to obstructthe exercise of citizens rights to vote and/or the right to stand for electionshall be subject to warning, non-custodial reform for up to one year or aprison term of between three months and one year.

2.Committing the crime in one of the following circumstances, the offenders shallbe sentenced to between one and two years of imprisonment:

a)In an organized manner;

b)Abusing their positions and/or powers;

c)Causing serious consequences.

3.The offenders may also be banned from holding certain posts for one to fiveyears.

Article127.- Falsifying election returns

1.Those who are responsible for organizing and supervising elections but forgepapers, commit vote fraud or employ other tricks to falsify the electionreturns shall be subject to non-custodial reform for up to two years or aprison term of between six months and two years.

2.Committing the crime in one of the following circumstances, the offenders shallbe sentenced to between one and three years of imprisonment:

a)In organized manner;

b)Causing serious consequences.

3.The offenders may also be banned from holding certain posts for one to fiveyears.
