Is technology used for identifying voters at polling stations (electronic poll books)?

Article 83: Election materials

In each polling room, election materials shall include:

1) a ballot box and its seals;

2) voters’ register;

3) ballot papers not less than the number of voters on voters’ register;

4) the ink used in the polling room;

5) Stamp;

6) “YATOYE” stamp;

7) Tally sheets;

8) lamp that may be used when necessary;

9) envelopes;

10) Prepared appendixes to be filled in;

11) Markers;

12) Scissors;

13) Scotch;

14) Stapler.

The NEC regulations do not mention the use of technology during voter identification in polling stations.
