“E-voting (VEP, Voto Electrónico Presencial) was implemented in 5,620 out of 84,851 polling stations, concerning 6.6 per cent of the polling stations and 7.1 per cent of the electorate. The e-voting solution was designed and built by the ONPE in-house and used voter-verifiable paper record machines, with voters being identified against a digital voter list.”
