Andorra has a high number of both women and young people in parliament, with seats held by women in parliament increasing to 46% this year from 32% in 2019 (IPU, 2021).

Women's right to vote took place in 1970, whilst the right to stand for election followed just 3 years after in 1973.  Their first woman in parliament was elected in 1993, with recent goals being attained in 2019 as they celebrate their first women speaker (IPU, 2019)
