19. If there is a limit on the amount a donor can contribute to a candidate, what is the limit?

Donations are capped by natural person to four hundred thousand dinars (400,000 DA) for elections legislative and six hundred thousand dinars (600,000 DA) for presidential elections. These ceilings can be updated every three (3) years by regulation. Donations from Algerian citizens living abroad can not exceed, by a natural person, the equivalent of four hundred thousand dinars (400.000 DA) for Legislative elections and six hundred thousand dinars (600,000 DA) for presidential elections.
