Electoral law quota details

1. Parity for the purposes of applying this law means a minimum representation of 36% of women on the list for elected positions. 2. To comply with the provisions of the previous paragraph, the multi-member lists presented by the parties cannot contain only candidates of the same gender in order to respect the parity referred to above.(Parity Law, Article 4)
