The number of deputies in the National Assembly is one hundred and nine (109), including twenty-four seats reserved exclusively for women. (Article 144)

Without prejudice to the election of women in the first allocation, a second allocation is made at the rate of one seat exclusively reserved for women per electoral constituency.
