Due to its geographical features and lack of institutional capacity, Chad is ranked as the most vulnerable country in the world when it comes to the impact of climate change in the ND-GAIN Vulnerability Index. Adaptation measures are being put in place with the support of the international community, but they need urgent scaling-up.
